The General Hospital (GH) scoop for the week of October 12 hints Ava Jerome (Maura West) will grapple with the quandary she’s in. Viewers know Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is blackmailing her, demanding she seek a divorce from Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
Also, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will make a decision, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will be disappointed and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will be annoyed by Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). Plus, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) comes up with a plan.
Let’s start with Anna, who wants to set a trap for her twin sister Alex and Valentine Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). She’ll need to make a huge decision about what to do. Anna knows that enticing Alex to Port Charles is risky, but she may feel she has no other choice.

Meanwhile, Jason will be plotting against Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) as per usual. He will help Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) come up with a plan. Will they consider using Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) as a spy again?
Over with Maxie, who is sick and tired of Spinelli’s suspicions when it comes to Peter August (Wes Ramsey). She’ll warn him to cut it out before he loses her friendship for good. Other spoilers tease Portia Robinson (Brook Keer) will holler at Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will defend Brando.
General Hospital Scoop – Ava Jerome May Be Forced To Divorce Nikolas Cassadine
Finally, thanks to the dirt on Julian Jerome (William deVry), Ava may be forced to divorce Nikolas. If she doesn’t, Ryan is threatening to disclose details of Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) letter to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Of course, she’ll face all kinds of pressure from her brother, who knows that if Sonny gets a hold of that letter, his life will be in mortal danger. However, what will Ava ultimately decide to do?
